ISLAZUL LOS DELFINES Hotel

Located at the heart of Varadero peninsula, Los Delfines sits on one of its most beautiful white sand beaches creating a tropical haven within its colonial villa, modern buildings, swimming pool, palm trees and sun umbrellas. Recently renovated and enlarged, Los Delfines offers its guests two terraces overlooking the sea where they can socialize and enjoy the setting of the sun.

The hotel offers the “formula club” that lets the guests use, beside the buffet restaurant, a new snack bar/pizzeria nearby the pool. Palms and mangroves are the crown of the beach and of the beautiful sea close to the swimming pool. As welcoming as your own home, it is the ideal spot for those who prefer a warm and friendly atmosphere to large and impersonal hotels.

The rooms (11 in the colonial villa and 89 in the new buildings) furnished with Caribbean style and a touch of Italian flare offer private bath, air conditioning, mini bar (optional consumption), private phone, satellite television and safety box (optional). The 4 junior suite rooms in the colonial villa have a spacious seafront terrace where you can relish unforgettable sunsets. The 9 junior suite rooms in the new building that overlook the sea and differ from the others for their spaciousness and brightness, offer a king size bed and a big terrace with a breathtaking view of the sea (an extra bed may be added for a third person upon request). The villa was constructed in 1928* as the bell in the courtyard and the Spanish style arches bare witness. This part of the resort is offered to those who desire a more poetic atmosphere without having to give up modern day comforts.

The fun-filled program of daytime and evening activities is now richer than ever in content and includes salsa and merengue lessons, darts, beach volley, aerobics, karaoke and games. Cuban music and folklore dance fill the hot sultry evenings.

Los Delfines is especially proud of is cuisine. Cuban cooks and a highly experienced Italian chef offer tasty Creole menus as well as the finest Italian dishes. The new “formula club” (includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and also 28 soft drinks and/or beer per person per week) allows the guests to enjoy the main buffet restaurant with air conditioning in the colonial villa as well as the new poolside snack bar/pizzeria specialized in pizza and grilled meat and fish.

Los Delfines celebrates special occasions. For honeymooners and couples celebrating 25° and 50° wedding anniversary the hotel offers the junior suite accommodation (based on availability) and a special romantic dinner by candlelight; guests celebrating birthdays are offered a cake and a small party.
