Islazul Gran Piedra motel is located on the side of the Gran Piedra mountain, 1227 meters above sea level; and only 28 km away from the city of Santiago de Cuba. This warm and friendly mountain hotel owes its name to a gigantic rock wighing approximately 70,000 tons and which is registered in the Guinnes Book of World Records as the third largest solid rock worldwide. The Islazul Gran Piedra motel is surrounded by the ruins of ancient coffee-growing estates that have been declared a World Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO.

The motel offer facilities for trekking, with specialized guides for four paths with signs.

CANCELLATION POLICY The hotel reserves the right to apply a cancellation or no-show penalty in case of:

  • Cancellations made less than 5 days in advance, where 50% of the total stay per person will be discounted from the reserved meal plan.
  • No show, where 100% of the price of one (1) night per room in the reserved food plan and 50% of the rest of the stay in the reserved food plan will be discounted.
