The RIU BAMBU hotel is located in holiday area Punta Cana on the Dominican Republic's eastern coast. The hotel is part of RIU Resort with four sister hotels and is situated on the beautiful Playa Arena Gorda beach, which stretches for 26 km. The colourful Caribbean Street is 600 m away and offers the following shared facilities: jeweller's, chemist's, photo studio, a variety of shops and Pacha discotheque. The small town of El Cortecito (approx. 10 min. by car) has several restaurants and beach bars. Shopping centre is 2 km away. The natural and fine-sandy public beach is surrounded by lush vegetation.
For lunch and snacks, free choice from a selection of restaurants at the Riu Bambu and Riu Naiboa hotels. Domestic alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages also at the bars of Riu Naiboa. Free entry to "Pacha" discotheque (excluding special evenings); drinks not included.
Water park "Splash Water World" at Punta Cana Riu Resort: Free entrance for all guests staying at the RIU Resort. "Splash Water World" with 6 water slides: Open body slide, Body Bowl, Aquatubo, Kamikaze, Aquaracer, Stuka. Guests must be of a height of at least 1.20m/3.9ft to be admitted.

Conditions
- Prices: The prices indicated are Retail Prices V.A.T. included. The price includes: Price per night depending on the type of room and regime selected, with the exception of hotels where the inclusion of other services is specifically indicated. The price does not include: Any service not specified plus extras such as transfers, tips, telephone calls, laundry services, minibar, parking, etc...
- Check-in and check-out time: As a general rule and unless expressly agreed otherwise with the establishment, rooms may be used from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.
- Passports and visas: All travelers, without exception (including children), must carry their personal and family documentation in order, whether passport or ID card, according to current legislation. Minors under 18 years of age must carry a written permission signed by their parents or guardians, in anticipation that it may be requested by any authority.
Cancellation and no show policy:
- Individual reservations may be cancelled or modified free of charge up to 72 hours prior to the guest's arrival. Cancellations will only be valid with a cancellation number provided by the hotel's reservations department.
- For cancellations and/or modifications with less than 72 hours, the hotel will bill the corresponding rate for the first night's accommodation plus taxes (value added tax).
- No cancellations or modifications will be accepted for non-refundable reservations.

- Recommended for men: Casual long pants, dress shorts, and dress shirts. Swimming and exercise shorts are not allowed.
- Le Gourmet Restaurant: Gentlemen must wear shirt with sleeves and long pants.
