Located in the heart of the historic center, on a pedestrian street where the embroiderers' market is located, Casa Barmarin has adopted the concept of cultural house instead of the classic hostel. The room facing the street is conceived as a Cuban art gallery. The backyard preserves the tranquility and privacy of the guests. This house has just been restored in 2017 and we have taken care to preserve its colonial identity: The hand-painted frescoes, the original wood from the ceiling and the terracotta tiles have been part of it since the end of the 18th century.
The central patio of Casa Barmarin, is a haven of peace perfumed by a jasmine. The life of the house is organized around it: a covered gallery houses the outside dining room and on one side are the rooms and the kitchen of the other.
