Cycling is the best way to see most of Havana, which allows you to see much of the city in a short time. Havana is both product and witness of a tumultuous and epic history. Its monuments, architecture, landscapes and atmosphere are a direct illustration of the greatness that makes Havana exceptional since its foundation.

We will travel the wonders of the city together, from the Spanish colonial sites to the buildings, parks and large American boulevards, to the long dike that runs along the sea and, of course, the place where Fidel Castro addressed thousands of people . The Cubans in full revolutionary fervor. Capture the charm of this city and observe how Cubans today interact with Havana yesterday. We will assure you that you will have an unforgettable experience of the Cuban capital, after which you will be able to say without fail that you have seen all the essential points of the city.

Itinerary

This route will take us to the best points of the historical center to the non-conformist part of Havana. We will visit some cafes, we will pass through the most beautiful and oldest places of Old Havana, in front of the National Capitol, along the Paseo del Prado, the Malecón, the Callejón de Hamel, the Plaza de la Revolución, next to the Cemetery. Columbus, and finally the neighborhood of Vedado.

Degree of difficulty: Low.

Distance to be covered in the tour (round trip): 18 km approximately. (11.2 miles).

Approximate duration of the tour (total): 3 ,5 hours approximately.

Meeting point: We'll meet at Wilfredo Lam Park in Vedado. It's also called "Park of 16 and 15". Find your guide in a neon yellow vest in front of the church. Arrive 15-20 min before departure time. Address: 16th Street between 13th and 15th Street, Vedado.

Important Notes

• The guest must have good experience in urban cycling. There are no bicycle lanes in Cuba.
• You must have a good experience in city cycling. The terrain is a few hills.
• Children under 18 years of age can attend if accompanied by a legal guardian. The minimum age to participate is 10 years old.
• We will have to load our bikes to go up or down a road.
• Attendees should be able to ride a bicycle comfortably up to 20 kilometers (12.4 miles).
• You should bring lights for riding at night.
• At the meeting point, we will provide safety equipment and give some instructions for safe cycling.
• The leader will then ask for suggestions to create the route at this point. Your mission is to design an attractive 4-hour route through the city of Havana.
