Overview

Jeep Safari "EL YUNQUE NATURAL PARK"

We offer a wide selection of panoramic tours of the most important sites of Cuba's history, culture and contemporary life. So this is a gift for those who are looking for adventure on their vacations in Cuba.

Description:

The intense jeep tour will make you enjoy a great adventure, seeing a rich variety of natural landscapes and native birds. On this trip we will make the ascent to El Yunque mountain, in a steep terrain of medium - high complexity, which in rainy season is quite slippery in certain sections, which are protected by natural handrails and others built by the workers who work in this protected area of more than a thousand hectares, normally the temperature is above 30 degrees, relative humidity above 74 percent, which means a lot of sweating.

Once at the top of the mountain there is a wide panoramic view that shows in front the City of Baracoa, the Bay and the mouth of the rivers Toa and Duaba, to the left and behind the mountain that makes up the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park.

It is important to point out that the ascent and return of this excursion obligatorily includes the walk across the Duaba River, that is to say without the use of bridges, we specify to the client that the mountain El Yunque is the symbol of the City of Baracoa, worldwide recognized.

We advise clients who choose this option to include in their luggage water, meals with sweets and proteins, light clothing, caps or hats, hard tennis or climbing boots and sandals to cross the river, as well as layers or other protection for rainy seasons.

We guarantee our clients professional guide services, a fun and interesting excursion and all the security and protection of their physical integrity.
