  • A scenic boat tour of approximately one hour, through the beautiful Gibara Bay or the Cacoyugüín River, enjoying and admiring its stunning natural beauty with views of the Fernando VII Battery (built on January 16, 1817, on a promontory in Gibara Bay, as protection against pirate attacks. This date is also considered the founding date of Gibara).
  • Recommended: light clothing, sunglasses, hats or caps, hard tennis or hiking boots or sandals, other protective layers for seasons rain, solar protection and photographic camera.
  • It is recommended to bring at least a bottle of water and light meals with sweet and protein.

Policies and Conditions

  • Pick-ups may be delayed by a few minutes depending on the punctuality of the customers.
  • This tour requires a minimum of 2 passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for reasons of force majeure or adverse weather conditions, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.
  • In case of force majeure the reservation may be cancelled or postponed to another date subject to availability.
  • Level of complexity: Easy.
  • Once the reservation is made you will receive in your email address the voucher with the information you have chosen. If you can, print the voucher to present it to your tour guide.
  • Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The client must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

  • In case of cancellation up to 96 hours before the start of the excursion, no penalty will be applied to the price of the tour.
  • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied.
  • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied.
  • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
