TROPICANA CABARET SHOW “TROPICANA, OH HAVANA”

"A paradise under the stars" as this famous cabaret is known, offers since 1939, the most spectacular show, a magazine of Cuban rhythms and Afro-Cuban dances in a space under the light of the stars. This is undoubtedly a show full of art to multiply the joy of Cuba on a tropical night. Tropicana is one of the must-see sites while in Havana.

Since June 2015, every night in Havana, at the Cabaret Tropicana, "Un Paraíso Bajo las Estrellas", they present the show Tropicana, Oh, Havana, a long journey and a unique blend of Cuban culture. The sounds, the shouts, ballads and boleros, without excluding the guajiras, and the presence of the Spanish song, reflect the wide cultural diversity that characterizes the Caribbean island, and that the direction of the show was in charge of combining balanced, with the presence of the dances carefully tinged by the Afro-Cuban eroticism. The Tropicana, Oh, Havana show, one of the most famous in the world, has been prepared with a mixture of Caribbean sensuality, with the aesthetics, elegance and wit of Cuban roots. Criollismo and "glamour" define the aesthetics of the body language of the great cast of Cabaret Tropicana. Through several moments of the show Tropicana, Oh, La Habana, where music and dance are deeply mixed, besides highlighting the quality of the cast, composed of 12 singers, 12 solo dancers, 60 ballet dancers, 45 extras, 6 acrobats, a contortionist, plus a large and prestigious orchestra with 38 musicians, a folk group of 9 musicians and a choir of 14 singers, all under the direction of the artistic director, Juan Armando Perez, of Jimagua Tropicana. The show closes with a flourish when a great carnival, which manages to dialogue through the rumba, both customers and artists.

• Show "Tropicana, Oh, Havana" (from 22.00 pm to 11.15 pm) is a waste of the unique mixture of elements that make up Cuban culture. Sones, pregones, ballads, boleros, guajiras and the Spanish song are a reflection of that cultural diversity that characterizes Cuba and that the direction of the show combines balanced, with the presence of dances carefully nuanced by Afro-Cuban eroticism.

• Interactive show (from 23.15 hrs to 01.30 hrs) after the Show you will be able to enjoy an interactive exchange with the animators, dancers and musicians, to squander that contained joy and the desires to move the feet and the hips to the rhythm of the Cuban music .

Lounge: A Paradise Under the Stars: Open air terrace, surrounded by a luxuriant forest, where the fabulous and unique Tropicana shows take place. From 8.30 p.m. till dawn with a capacity up to 1000 peoples. The show room is open until 02:00 hrs to dance.

Every December 31, Cabaret Tropicana will offer the exclusive gala evening that traditionally celebrates the arrival of the new year. This great event will take place as always in the famous Sala Bajo las Estrellas where you can enjoy the show "Tropicana, Oh La Habana" with many proposals. Then, in the early hours of the morning, the interactive show "Tropicana, after midnight" for guests to dance and continue celebrating the arrival of the year with new performances. Dinner, hosted by the famous "Violins de Tropicana", will be served from 8.30 p.m., when the cabaret doors will open. A personalized gift, inspired by the exotic atmosphere of Tropicana, is also planned, as well as the classic cotillion bag for each of our guests.
