This excursion gives you the opportunity to travel by jeep from the beach resort of Varadero to Havana, Capital of Cuba, and to know the charms of the cities of Matanzas and Santa Cruz del Norte, the passage over the Bacunayagua Bridge, the highest bridge in Cuba and one of the longest from where you can observe landscapes of incalculable beauty, contemplating the Yumurí Valley. An adventure of more than 150 kilometers through embankments, roads, quarries, palm groves and peasant villages. Attractive and exclusive excursion in Jeep Safari, in which you will have the opportunity to make a tour mixing adventure and the enjoyment of nature, knowing the natural historical values of the northern coast of Matanzas, the incredible beauty of the seabed while snorkeling in the coral reef of the protected area Punta de Maya. You will visit and taste a delicious Creole lunch in a beautiful farm of Cuban peasants, located in the heart of the Yumury Valley, learning about its history, as well as horseback riding in the surroundings of the farm.
Itinerary
- Pick up at hotel in Varadero.
- Snorkeling in the coral reef “Punta de Maya”.
- Visit and possibility to swim in the cool waters of the Saturno Cave.
- Jeep ride through the fields and embankments.
- Visit to the farm “La Dionisia” which includes:
- Creole lunch (one non-alcoholic drink included).
- Horseback riding.
- Observation and tour of the ruins of an 18th century French style coffee plantation.
- Time to relax.
- Visit to the Bellamar Caves.
- Transfer to hotel in Havana with stop at the “Mirador de Bacunayagua” the highest bridge in Cuba.

Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The client must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.

Cancellation and no show policy:

Cancellations more than 72 hours before the excursion: No penalty applies.

Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 25% of the total value of the excursion applies.

Cancellations less than 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 50% of the total value of the excursion applies.

NO-SHOW: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.

NO-SHOW with change of date: a penalty of 25% of the total value of the excursion applies and a new ticket must be purchased for the new date.
