If you would like to share a truly special moment with a local farming family in the Viñales area, this experience offers a rare and genuine opportunity to do so.
You will discover how rural Cuban families really live — what they grow, how they work the land, and how traditions have been passed down through generations. This is not a staged experience for tourists, but an authentic immersion into everyday Cuban countryside life.
The farm is located 20 km from the town of Viñales, in a quiet rural area with no other tourists — just you as a special guest. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, fresh air, and a peaceful atmosphere, the setting feels much like rural life might have been 80 years ago.
During your visit, you will be accompanied by a private guide who knows the family personally and will assist you throughout the experience.
What you will experience:
- Participate in daily farm activities and learn about traditional agricultural methods, ancient tools, and livestock
- Feed chickens and free-range pigs
- Milk a cow by yourself — a truly unique hands-on experience
- Walk around the farm and enjoy a short horseback ride
- Work in the tobacco fields, tobacco barn, and other crops depending on the season
- Learn about the tobacco plant, its leaves, and see how the family rolls their own cigars
- Help prepare lunch and learn how to cook traditional Cuban dishes
- Enjoy a special homemade lunch, including natural juice, creole coffee, a traditional drink, and a cigar if you wish

Cancellation Policy
• In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
