You will spend the day among tobacco growers, learn about their trades, learn to drink and eat like them, appreciate the dazzling views of the Viñales valleys and soak up the local culture. Description:
- If you are coming from Havana - 08:00 hrs - Our wonderful team will pick you up directly at your accommodation in Havana in a classic American car (or SUV).
- In this scenic trip, which lasts approximately 2h30, you will enjoy several stops to capture the best moments in pictures.
- The driver will stop at Los Jazmines viewpoint at the entrance of Viñales.
- 11:00 hrs - You will be met by your private guide at the starting point. After you get to know each other, the guide will help you to ride the horse and give you a drink of rum (to calm your nerves...).
- The adventure begins: entrance to the Viñales National Park (Palmarito Valley) and a 40 minutes walking tour through the tobacco plantations to meet the local farmers.
- 12:00 hrs - 16:00 hrs - You will arrive at the tobacco farm, located in the middle of the valley with panoramic views.
- Here one of the local farmers will give you a guided tour of the farm, explaining how it is managed and the relationship with the government. They will explain the entire tobacco process, from seed to cigar, and the manufacture of their own honey, coffee and rum, and of course you can taste them.
- After the visit, enjoy a traditional meal, prepared by the resident chef (grandmother) and enjoy the panoramic views of the tobacco fields while you eat.
- Sip a fresh coconut water and homemade coffee (from coffee beans picked straight from the tree).
- Once digested, it's time to return to the horses to explore a hidden cavern where no other tourist goes. You can take a dip in the lagoon to cool off before returning to your horse, enjoying a relaxing and peaceful ride, appreciating the view of the valleys all the way back to the city.
- If you return to Havana, your driver will be waiting for you at the end of the excursion to take you back to Havana.
- 19:00 hrs Return to Havana with memories for the rest of your life.

Policies and Conditions
• This tour operates without a minimum of passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for reasons of force majeure or adverse weather conditions, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund the cost of your trip.
• From 7 people the excursion will take place in more than one vehicle. Check budget.
• Level of complexity: Low.
• Duration: minimum 10 hours - maximum 12 hours
• Your reservation will always be a CONFIRMED RESERVATION so you only have to get to the right place to start your excursion to the time, date and the number of people declared on the voucher of the BOOKING option. No need to make an additional confirmation to your reservation as always will be waiting for you in a timely manner. Once the reservation is made, you will receive in your email the voucher with the information you have chosen. You should print the voucher and present to your tour guide.
• We recommend starting the tour at nine in the morning (09:00 hrs) but you decide the departure time of your excursion, we want to help your plans at any time of day.
• We do not accept children under six (6) years in the excursions for the horse ride.
• In the summer season we are open from 08:00 hrs to 19:00 hrs / In the winter season we are open from 08:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs.
• We provide a personalized service guide just for you or your family.
• You may decide the time of the trip, even if you booked for a certain time will be able to ride for less or more time than agreed. 3 hours is the recommended minimum time for horseback riding.
• No need to present identification (passport or tourist card) for the tour, thus avoiding losses or damage thereto.
• All our horses are certified by the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and meet all requirements under this entity.
• If it is your first time riding horses do not worry they are calm, all guides are well experienced in this activity.
Cancellation Policy
• In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
