"BOAT RIDE IN THE BAY OF CIENFUEGOS" Tour
Cienfuegos located on the southern coast of Cuba. Recognized for its buildings from the colonial era. Called the Pearl of the South, it is the second most important port in Cuba and capital of the province of the same name. Cienfuegos preserves a fairly homogeneous urban nucleus in terms of architecture, full of classic facades and slender columns that provide an environment reminiscent of the 19th century France in which it was inspired.
In the central plaza José Martí Park, is the Tomás Terry Theater, with mosaics of gold leaf and frescoes in its sky. The Provincial Museum explores the colonial history of the city. The Arc de Triomphe commemorates Cuban independence. Ferries cross the bay to Castillo de Jagua, an 18th-century fortress.
Description
During navigation through the interior of the bay, you can first see the city of Cienfuegos; also called "La Perla del Sur" since colonial times, where emblematic buildings such as "Palacio Valle", "Palacio Azul", the residential area "La Punta" called by the native aborigines "Tureira", Proclaimed Heritage of Humanity, after browsing the coast of the city, the navigation goes EAST towards the area of "Punta la Cueva" and "Cayo Carena" where customers can enjoy visuals of the natural attractions offered by the Escambray Mountains, the route continue to the SOUTH navigating the entrance channel of the bay where the fishing villages "La Milpa" and "El Perche" are shown in all their splendor reaching the town of El Castillo where customers can see and photograph from the sea the fortress "Nuestra Señora de los Angeles de Jagua", built in 1745, the return journey is made along the WEST coast of the bay passing in front of the "Don Bruno" and "Jucaral" hot springs and the ship is completed Gation in the Marina.
