The Nengoa Grotto, a karstic space of relevant importance, attracts the visitor because of the impressive waterfall inside with a 12 m drop after having carved the ceiling and the cavernous walls forming a natural pool that complement the captivating beauty of the place.

Itinerary

• The tour in a mountain vehicle starts at Reloj del Sol.
• Walk to Sendero de Nengoa located 8 km from Topes de Collantes on the Cabagan River.
• Canyoning activity with a specialized guide.
• Creole lunch at Mi Retiro Restaurant (Optional).
• Return to the pick up points.

Includes:

• Transfer in mountain vehicle from Reloj del Sol and return, specialized guide.
• Box lunch and additional bottle of water.
• Lunch at Mi Retiro Restaurant (for the option that includes it).

Distance to be covered in the tour: 80 km from the city of Trinidad / 110 km from the Ancon Peninsula.

**ASPECTS TO KEEP IN MIND FOR THE CANYONING PROGRAM **

• There is only one specialized guide for each activity. Without the presence of this guide, the activity cannot be carried out.

• In case of accident is governed by the evacuation plan that is established in the contract, the resort has a specialized guide able to perform first aid and rescue in difficult environments. Therefore, each client will sign a liability waiver upon arrival.

• In the details of the list of participants, it is essential that the client's experience or lack of experience in this type of activity be included.

• There are approved routes within the public use area destined for tourist activities in the Complex:

• Caburni Trail (Caburni River canyon).

• Codina Park (La Majagua canyon) (Opening soon).

• Vegas Grande Trail (Vegas Grande river canyon)

• Nengoa Trail/Nengoa Grotto

Assistance, rescue and evacuation:

First aid provided by: eco-guides and Park staff.

Medical Assistance Center: Kurhotel Escambray.

Transfer to the Medical Assistance Center: In the same means of transportation used to get to the park.
