Varadero - Havana - Viñales - Havana - Varadero

DESCRIPTION:

Havana, the capital of Cuba, was founded by the spaniard Diego Velazquez on november 16, 1519. More than 500 years ago. It was declared by Unesco in 1982 A World Heritage Site.It is one of the most beautiful cities in the Caribbean Sea, plenty of a very interesting history.

It takes about two and a half hours from Havana to enjoy Cuba’s most beautiful landscape, Viñales Valley, 80% of which is dedicated to tobacco production, providing the best leaves for the finest Cuban Cigars. With your tour guide, you will visit a typical private farmer’s house, where tobacco leaves are grown, and see how cigars are rolled. You can also visit Mural de la Prehistoria and have a nice boat ride in the underground waters of Cueva del Indio.

ITINERARY:

1st day: (VARADERO - HAVANA)

• At 9 am, Departure from Varadero.
• Stop at Bacunayagua Bridge for photos and Piña Colada.
• Departure directly to Modern Havana with stop at José Martí Revolution Square.
• Walking tour through the Central Park area, to enjoy the Capitol of Havana, the Gran Teatro Alicia Alonso as well as the Paseo del Prado. You will also have time to enjoy the emblematic and crowded Obispo and Real Havana streets.
• Time for lunch (at the client's disposal).
• Walking tour of the 4 emblematic squares of Old Havana (Plaza de La Catedral, Plaza de Armas, Plaza San Francisco de Asis and Plaza Vieja.
• Lodging in private rental house.
• Night at disposal of the clients to enjoy the optional Buena Vista Social Club Show or another cultural option offered by the city at the client's choice.

2nd day: (HAVANA - VIÑALES)

• At 9 am departure to Viñales Valley, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Visit to the Cueva del Indio (Indian Cave),
• Visit to the Prehistoric Mural,
• Visit to an area of tobacco plantations with horseback riding,
• Time for lunch (at the client's disposal) In Viñales we normally have lunch at a local farmer's house.
• Visit to the Viñales Valley viewpoint from the hotel Los Jazmines.
• Lodging in a rented house in the city.
• Free night at your disposal to enjoy the traditions and cultural evenings in the town of Viñales.

3rd day: (VIÑALES - HAVANA - VARADERO)

• 8 am. Return with entrance to Havana and Viñales.
• Visit to Fusterlandia,
• Visit to the Metropolitan Forest of Havana.
• Visit to Hamel's Alley.
• Time for lunch (at client's disposal).
• Return to Varadero.

• Round trip transportation from the hotel to Trinidad and Cienfuegos.
• Specialized guide service.
• Visits as described in the program.
• 2 nights lodging in private rental houses.

Services not included in the excursion:

• Entrance fees to museums or other tourist sites described in the program are at the client's choice.
• Other visits not described in the program.
• Breakfast, lunch or dinner service. Additional meals and beverages.
• Tips for the guide and driver at the client's discretion for the quality of service received.

Minimum number of passengers in the tour: 2 pax. Maximum number of passengers in the tour: 12 pax.

Cars for transfer services during the tour:

• American classic cars: 2 to 4 pax.
• Minivan: 5 to 8 pax.
• Microbus: 9 to 12 pax.

Important note: Guided tours in German and Russian are subject to availability (due to a reduced number of guides in those languages) and are subject to an extra charge of 10% of the tour price.
