DESCRIPTION:

During the transfer to El Nicho, you will be able to witness the beauty of the Cuban fields, passing through the municipality of Cumanayagua, one of the largest in the country in terms of territory, since it covers a large part of the Guamuhaya mountain system, the highest point in the center of the island with 1140 meters above sea level. Once you begin to enter the mountains you will be able to see green fields adorned by the royal palm, Cuba's national tree. As well as peasant cabins in the most intricate places surrounded by coffee and banana plantations in all their varieties.

El Nicho is an area of green natural beauty where the water from its waterfalls descends sharply, making these an unforgettable landscape for the visitor. An almost virgin area for the human eye calls attention to the fact that during your tour you will have the opportunity to see endemic birds and animals of Cuba, such as the national bird that in its mating season you will be able to listen to its incessant song. A crystal clear and fresh water that invites you to enter and enjoy its relaxation will welcome you at the meeting point.

Excursion Scheduled for: 6 hours. (From 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

• 9.00 am: Pick up by the guide at the hostel where the clients are staying to start the excursion. (Brief explanation of the itinerary)
• 9.00 am -10.30 am: Transfer by classic or conventional taxi, with drivers of vast experience throughout the journey.
• 10.30 am-12.00 pm: walk along the path that leads to the different waterfalls (Bath included).
• 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm: Lunch at a local restaurant where you have the opportunity to taste tasty typical dishes of our Creole cuisine.
• 1.45 pm: Return to the hotel in the city of Cienfuegos.

Note: There is the possibility that at the end of the tour in El Nicho, the clients, (at their choice and with an additional cost), can continue back to the city of Trinidad.
