The Isla de la Juventud (Isle of Youth), the second largest extension of the Cuban archipelago, with an area of 2,200 square kilometers, is a special municipality located a little more than 100 kilometers south of Batabanó in the province of Havana. The Isle of Youth is a territory that treasures valuable museums such as the El Abra Farm, where José Martí, Cuba's national hero, lived as a young man, as well as the Model Prison, in addition to many caves where you can see pictographs of its first Indian settlers.

The Isle of Youth, together with other 672 keys and islets that make up the Canarreos archipelago, has a rugged coastline and thick tropical forests where a great variety of animal species coexist. It also has thermal waters that are a source of beauty, rejuvenation and health. The Punta Francés Ecological Reserve Area, one of the most beautiful and best preserved in Cuba, is proposed to be declared a National Marine Park, in the southwest coast, allowing visitors to enjoy excellent beaches, varied nautical offers and excursions. This is due to the natural wealth of the area, the transparency of its waters and the fact that it has a coral reef in an excellent state of conservation. Diving enthusiasts will find 56 dive sites close to important colonies of corals, gorgonians, sponges, as well as caves, passages and tunnels.

PROGRAM OF THE TOUR:

Day 1:

• Pick up at the hotel and departure to the airport to take the flight to Nueva Gerona; (5 kg hand luggage and 20 kg hold luggage per person, extra weight must be paid).
• Arrival at the Rafael Cabrera Mustelier Airport in Nueva Gerona and pick up in air-conditioned bus with tour guide service.
• Transfer to the Colony Hotel.
• Free day at guests' disposal to enjoy the facilities and services of the Colony Hotel.

Day 2: JACKSONVILLE: A STOP IN TIME Maximum capacity: 22 PAX.

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer by bus to the natural reserve where the Carapachibey Lighthouse is located: today, it is the tallest lighthouse of its kind in Cuba and one of the tallest in Latin America.
• Free time to enjoy the view of the lighthouse, snack service included.
• Tour of the town of Jacksonville (also known as Cocodrilo): It is a Cuban town with an English past, where years ago there was a settlement of people from the Cayman Islands.
• Free time for lunch in the village (not included in the price) in a private rental house (offers range in prices between 500 and 700 cup).
• Return to the hotel.

Day 3:

• Free day at guests' disposal to enjoy the facilities and services of El Colony Hotel.

Day 4:

• Return transfer according to flight schedule to Nueva Gerona Airport.
• Return to Havana and transfer to the hotel.
