Codina Natural Park, one of the most beautiful places in the Cuban geography, is located in the Guamuhaya Mountain Range or Sierra del Escambray, in the central province of Sancti Spíritus. In this natural environment there is a beautiful garden with many varieties of orchids and a delicate and well preserved bamboo forest, you can also visit the attractive El Altar Cave which, along with the great diversity of flora and fauna, are among the main attractions for nature lovers.
Description
Together with your nature guide you will visit the Codina Park, located 9 kms from Topes de Collantes. This park is a true ecological refuge to combat stress. You will visit a garden of orchids and bamboos, a high percentage of endemic flora and fauna, caves, viewpoints, picturesque landscapes and special places for meditation.
Itinerary
- Pick up at the hotels or at Ecotur's office.
- Departure to Topes de Collantes by jeep.
- Jeep ride to find the Magic Carpet Trail, located in Codina Park.
- Together with the nature guide you will visit this site located 9 kms from Topes de Collantes. This trail is a true ecological refuge to combat stress. You will see a garden of orchids and bamboos, a high percentage of endemic flora and fauna, caves, viewpoints, picturesque landscapes and special places for meditation.
- Lunch included.
- Return to the pick up points.

Cancellation and no show policy:
- Cancellations more than 72 hours before the tour: No penalty applies.
- Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 25% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Cancellations less than 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 50% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- NO-SHOW: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Reservation fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
