Description
Trinidad, the third town founded in Cuba in 1514, due to its high degree of conservation, was declared a World Heritage Site in 1988. It has a socio-cultural and economic history treasured for more than five centuries.
Itinerary
- Walking tour through the streets of its historic center where you can feel how life went on in this city in past centuries until today, enjoy valuable buildings as a sample of its architecture, the cultures that converged in the town (Trinidad) as well as recognize the economic development that reached especially during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
- Transfer to Hacienda Manaca Iznaga located in the valley of the sugar mills.
- Typical Cuban lunch at Manaca Iznaga Restaurant.
- Specialized explanation of the sugar industry in Cuba, possibility to take pictures, visit the Torre Mirador and possibility to buy souvenirs.
- Transfer and visit to Hacienda Buena Vista, an old colonial house from the XVIII century and remodeled in the XIX century, with mural decorations that recreate biblical, mythological and animal scenes, a very uncommon fact in Cuba, it is one of the oldest haciendas that exist in the Valle de los Ingenios.
- Visit to the Mirador del Valle de los Ingenios.
- Optionally you can enjoy a session of Canopy and enjoy the excellent view of the Valley of San Luis.
- Return to the city.
