Topes de Collantes Protected Natural Landscape. Spanning over 200 km², this ecological treasure forms part of the Guamuahaya mountain range (Sierra del Escambray), one of the country’s most striking natural regions. Perched at an average altitude of 800 meters above sea level, the area is a spectacular blend of lush valleys, caves, rivers, cliffs, and cascading waterfalls. Its crown jewel, Pico San Juan, rises to 1,140 meters, making it the highest peak in central Cuba and a paradise for hikers and nature enthusiasts.

Recognized as both a scientific and ecological reserve, Topes de Collantes is home to an extraordinary diversity of flora and fauna. Visitors will find pine forests, groves of bamboo and eucalyptus, and countless tropical species, many of them endemic to Cuba. • Pick up at the hostal or hotel where clients are staying.
• On the way to the Topes de Collantes Natural Park, through an impressive mountain road of Cuba, clients will be able to visit the "Mirador" with beautiful views of the Sierra del Escambray and the Caribbean Sea.
• Arrival to the town of Topes de Collantes where you will appreciate one of the main attractions of the area, the Sundial located in its central square, which flirts with the clouds at 800 meters above sea level.
• Tour through one of the selected trails for the client to enjoy walking through nature trails from 1 km to 7 km surrounded by the endemic flora and fauna of this place.
• The walk includes a refreshing swim in one of the impressive natural waterfalls,
• Visit to the "Casa del Café" where you can enjoy an optional typical coffee (not included in the price of the excursion).
• After a great day surrounded by nature and adventures, clients will enjoy lunch and taste delicious local dishes in a typical restaurant of the area: El Chalet "Mi Retiro" or "El Mirador".
• End of the tour: Return of the clients to where they are staying in the city of Trinidad.
