Overview

"TRADITIONAL HOLGUÍN" Tour

We offer a diverse selection for panoramic tours of the most significant sites in Cuban history, culture and contemporary life. So this is a treat for those seeking some vacation adventures on their Cuba holiday tour.

Holguín is a city in Cuba, capital of the homonymous province since 1976. Until then it was part of the former province of Oriente. It is the third largest province of Cuba, with an extension that represents 8.6% of the total surface of the island. It is known as the city of parks. It also has the most impressive natural landscapes of eastern Cuba and incredible beaches.

Holguín is currently one of the richest settings of Cuban nature. High mountain ranges, fertile plains and fine sandy beaches alternate in the landscape of this province of singular beauty and multiple attractions. It was in this area of Cuba (Bariay) where Admiral Christopher Columbus landed in 1492. Holguín's beaches are among the most beautiful in the Caribbean, for their warm and calm waters of a very particular turquoise blue, for the natural protection offered by the coral formations and the fine sand that they have throughout their entire length. They are surrounded by dense vegetation, whose intense green color creates a fabulous contrast with the golden white tone of the sand and sea.

The city of Holguín, provincial capital, called “the City of Parks”, is a very interesting place to learn about the architecture and culture of the interior of Cuba. History lovers will be able to learn about aspects of Aboriginal culture in Banes, visiting the Chorro de Maita museum and the Taíno Village. The natural environments of this tourist destination favor hiking and bird watching activities, while the spaces created by man, such as the Dolphinarium and the Bahía de Naranjo facilities, are an invitation to combine a pleasant stay with active recreation throughout. year.

Welcome to Holguín: “The most beautiful land that human eyes have seen”
