Old Havana, recognized in 1982 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, constitutes the oldest part of the city, where a large number of monuments, valuable buildings, beautiful public spaces of high urbanistic quality and an urban fabric inherited over almost five centuries are treasured, which is embellished in a special way by the surrounding landscape.
A specialized walk through the main squares, small squares and interconnecting corridors will allow you to discover the rebirth of the old city, while at the same time confirming its marked residential character and the continuity of its traditions.
Itinerary.
- Pick up at the hotel.
- Visit to Colonial Havana, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Walking tour through its historic center with its squares, fortresses and buildings built by the Spaniards between the 16th and 19th centuries. Walk through the main streets and squares of the historic center: Plaza de Armas, Plaza de San Francisco de Asis, Plaza Vieja and Plaza de la Catedral.
- Opportunity of time available for shopping for handicrafts.
- Visit in transit to La Bodeguita del Medio and main streets and avenues of Old Havana.
- Continuation of the tour with panoramic view of the University of Havana and stop at the Plaza de la Revolución with time for photos.
- Return to the hotel.
