Founded by the Office of the Historian of Havana in 1996, the San Cristobal Travel Agency S.A. is today the specialist in historical-heritage tourism and national receptive tourism of the network of offices of the historian and the curator of the heritage cities of Cuba. Cuba's National Capitol was inaugurated on May 20, 1929, by then President Gerardo Machado. It is located on the limits of Centro Habana and La Habana Vieja, towards the southern end of the renowned Paseo del Prado.
