"A SPECTACULAR DAY IN CIEGO DE AVILA" Tour

For those who wish to know the culture, architecture, legends, history, the fascinating idiosyncrasy of the people of Ciego de Avila and other tourist attractions of the province, this excursion offers the possibility of visiting the historical centers of Morón and Ciego de Avila.

Itinerary.

  • Staggered pick-up at hotels in Cayo Guillermo and Cayo Coco.
  • Transfer by air-conditioned bus, with tour guide service, along the road leading to the town of Turiguanó to La Redonda Lagoon, one of the natural attractions of the province of Ciego de Avila, located eight kilometers from the city of Morón.
  • Enjoy an ecological boat tour through the interesting mangrove ecosystem, with time for photos and observation of the endemic and migratory flora and fauna of the place. The tour lasts 40 minutes in outboard motor boats. Includes flotation vests and specialized guide service.
  • Transfer to the Crocodile Farm, a center for the conservation, breeding and development in captivity of the American Crocodile (Crocodrilus acutus), a species threatened with extinction. Tour around the place, with time for observation, photography and feeding of the reptiles.
  • Departure to the city of Morón.
  • Visit to the Verarte antique gallery. Welcome cocktail and time for photographs and enjoyment of the decoration of the place.
  • Transfer to the hotel Morón for a panoramic ride in horse-drawn carriages along Tarafa Avenue, the main street of the city. The tour includes: the monument to El Gallo, symbol of the town; the monument erected to Roberto Rodríguez (El Vaquerito), fighter of the Rebel Army and leader of Che's Suicide Squad; the railroad terminal; José Martí Park; and the Caonabo Museum of archeology and history.
  • Arrival at the Patio El Gallo cultural recreation center and enjoy a welcome cocktail and traditional Cuban and international music.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant and transfer to the city of Ciego de Avila.
  • Tour of the historic center of the city and visit to the Pauyet goldsmith's gallery. Time for photography, souvenir shopping and interaction with the local people.
  • Return to hotels.
  • We recommend: light clothing, sunglasses, hats, tennis shoes, sandals or comfortable shoes, sun protection and camera.

If the provider decides to cancel, for reasons of force majeure or bad weather conditions, the Agency will offer you an alternative excursion or will fully reimburse the cost of your excursion.
  • Once the reservation is made you will receive in your email address the voucher with the information you have chosen. If you can, please print the voucher to present to your tour guide.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellation is made up to 72 hours prior to the time of enjoyment of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion price will be applied.
  • For cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours prior to the excursion departure time, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fee will be applied.
  • Please note that cancellation within 24 hours and up to the time of enjoyment of the excursion, and in case of no-show, 100% of the excursion price will be deducted.
  • Note: no administrative costs or credit card fees can be refunded in case of cancellation.
