Founded by the Office of the Historian of Havana in 1996, the San Cristobal Travel Agency S.A. is today the specialist in historical-heritage tourism and national receptive tourism of the network of offices of the historian and the curator of the heritage cities of Cuba. The founding premises of invariable validity for the organization are to propitiate a professional and orderly approach to the Cuban heritage by means of its rigorous communication and interpretation and to contribute economically to the process of integral revitalization of Old Havana. Consequently, the specialized tourist offer of the San Cristobal S.A. Agency combines the inexhaustible patrimonial wealth of the Cuban capital with that of other historic cities in the country, archeological sites, cultural landscapes, natural reserves and environments of high tourist significance.

Tour´s attractions

• The Office of the Historian of the city of Havana, as local authority of heritage management and coordinating entity of the process of integral rehabilitation of the territory by state will, successfully conducts the rescue and rehabilitation of heritage, while developing a careful social work in favor of the local population. This tour allows a unique approach to the management model based on self-financing, to the principles that support responsible tourism development in the territory, the presentation of social assistance centers and institutions and the visit to the Melchor Gaspar de Jovellanos Restoration Workshop School.
