This exciting activity takes place all year round, using trolling techniques with artificial lures. Depending on the season, you’ll have the chance to catch a variety of prized species that make this region a true paradise for fishing lovers:
- Castero: July to September on the northwestern shelf, and September to November on the northeastern shelf.
- Emperor: Late February to early April, especially on the northwestern shelf.
- Wahoo: Late October to early December.
- Marlin (Aguja): Late May to early July, offering one of the most thrilling catches.
- Sierra and Serrucho: Mainly during July in the northwestern shelf.
- Bonito, Albacore, and Yellowfin Tuna: Available all year round, with peak season at the beginning of spring (around May).
You’ll sail aboard a 33-foot or 41-foot motor yacht, departing from the Marina Marlin Guardalavaca, perfectly equipped for deep-sea fishing. The tour includes all fishing gear, an open bar with national drinks, and the attentive service of an experienced captain and crew member, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Whether you’re a seasoned fisherman or trying it for the first time, this excursion offers a perfect combination of sport, adventure, and relaxation in one of the most beautiful marine environments in the Caribbean.
The prices are expressed per boat, where up to 4 anglers can go with available tackle and a number of companions up to the capacity of the boat, they include:

- Transportation is not included in the round trip from the hotels to the marina.
- This excursion operates with a minimum number of passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your excursion. If the provider decides to cancel, due to force majeure or bad weather conditions, Holiplus will offer you an alternative excursion or fully reimburse the cost of your excursion.

- In the summer season we are open from 07:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs / In the winter season we are open from 06:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs.
- With us you have the guarantee reserve for any season, whether in high season of tourism or at the time of fewer tourists in Cuba.
Cancellation Policy
- In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged.
- Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied.
- Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
