Tour "The art of the contemporary"

Interesting approach to the so-called New Cuban Art, a movement within the Cuban plastic arts that emerged in the last years of the 1970s due to the break with the plastic tradition, the search for experimental artistic creation, the questioning and the social criticism.

The tour includes visits to the Cuban Art Room of the National Museum of Fine Arts, galleries, studios, workshops and neighborhood projects of the main exponents of Cuban contemporary art and allows an approach to the diversity of artistic forms of this aesthetic-ideological current.
