""HALF DAY HAVANA" Bike Tour

With our "Half Day in Havana" tour we will explore, in just 4 hours, the most important and popular places and districts of Havana and get an insight into the most interesting historical and cultural aspects. We will ride our electric bicycles through busy streets, surrounded by colonial buildings, classic cars, the sun and the tropical sea.

Itinerary

• Our guide will be waiting for us with the electric bikes at 09:00 am at the 21st Street #507A between D and E, Vedado. Check well for which tour you have registered and what information appears on your voucher (Alternatively, and upon request, another meeting point can be organized for groups and individuals).
• We will drive in these 4 hours through the lively and busy historical center, Centro Habana and through the elegant residential district of Vedado, with its diverse architecture. Crossing the oldest streets of the city, we will pass by the Capitol, the Central Park, the Museum of the Revolution and the Paseo del Prado.
• We will go through the narrow streets of Old Havana until we lose our bearings and then, fortunately, we will land at the historic Havana train station, in front of the famous birthplace of the poet, lawyer, intellectual, revolutionary and national hero, José Martí, a man who marked the history of Cuba in the 19th century.
• During our tour of Old Havana, we will go along the Bay of Havana to the point where the ferries that cross the bay depart, while we see, from the Castillo de la Punta, that On the other side, places of interest such as El Cristo, El Morro Castle, San Carlos de la Cabaña fortress and so we will learn more about the history of colonial Cuba.
• From there we will begin by the Malecón, the longest and most beautiful walk in the world, arriving at the Colón Cemetery, the largest in America and the third largest cemetery in the world.
• To not finish this wonderful tour here, we will pedal to John Lennon Park, to, perhaps, take some pictures with John and slowly return to our starting point.

Special notes:

• Please report to the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour starts.
• The program is subject to change. Museum visits depend on opening hours. Visits can be modified/changed according to the timetables of the places. The visit to the Museum of the Revolution will be in the surroundings, entrance is not included.
• All participants must travel with their own personal insurance.
• The guest must have a good experience in urban cycling. There are no bicycle lanes in Cuba.
• Guests should be able to ride a bicycle comfortably up to 20 kilometers.
• Light clothing is recommended. Sneakers, closed shoes or tennis shoes, comfortable and appropriate for walking outdoors. sunglasses, sun protection. Rain can be expected at any time.
• At the meeting point, we will give a brief introduction to electric bicycles, the settings of the clients' bicycles at each individual height and some general information about the roads and traffic regulations in Cuba.
