Distant 150 km from Varadero and 2. 30 hours by car, you reach the east coast of the Bay of Pigs in the south of the province of Matanzas, it is in this coastal strip between Playa Larga and Playa Giron where several diving spots are located that allow us to perform this fascinating activity without the use of boats, You only need to enter the water at the shore (between one and two meters deep depending on the chosen site) and start swimming perpendicularly to the shore and going into the water, in about 10 to 15 minutes you will reach the wall that runs parallel to the coastline and distant about 150 to 200 meters depending on the access point. On the upper edge of this wall we can find depths ranging from 6 to 15 meters and from there it drops almost vertically to isobaths of 300 to 400 meters, of course the maximum depth to which we descend will be given by the certifications and experience of customers divers aimed at these dives, in no case we will be below 40 meters which is the maximum depth for recreational diving. The visibility is the main characteristic of this area and we can find more than 40 meters, the area between the coast and the wall is colonized by different types of corals and sponges, sometimes forming small coral patches, and descending in the vertical predominate tile coral and tubular sponges. At some points cement boats have been sunk that were used in the fishing of our platform by different fishing companies in our country, they are small, 16 meters long (length) and the objective was to create underwater environments in the diving spots, almost all were sunk on the edges of the edge from where you descend down the wall. The fish are varied and in some sites we can find more diversity than in others.

On your visit to the Ciénaga de Zapata National Park, you will be able to contemplate the numerous species of migratory and endemic birds that come to this wonderful Cuban site and most importantly, the people who are dedicated to the research and care of the flora and fauna that make this wetland a Biosphere Reserve. Among the values of the area where the Enigma Trail of La Roca trail is located: This area is part of the largest karst drainage system in the country: the Zapata Basin or South Basin of the province of Matanzas, whose watershed mainly occupies the southern slope of the province and the southwestern tip of Cienfuegos. As a result of the karst processes of sinking of blocks and collapse of the zenithal part of the dolines, there appear associated segments of different forest formations (mangrove, swamp grasslands, semi-deciduous forests, coastal xeromorphic scrublands, rocky and sandy coastal vegetation complexes), which generate a great variety of habitats and ecosystems in specific geographic areas.

Activities:

• FIRST PART: It consists of walking a trail of about 650 m to where an open-air Cavern known as CUBA-CHECOSLOVAQUIA opens, there you can enjoy bathing and swimming using the mask which is optional, the landscape is very picturesque with enough natural attractions, especially the native vegetation and fauna. The recommendations for this first part is to bring natural water, shoes such as tennis shoes and some upper clothing with long sleeves.

• SECOND PART: Consists of a guided snorkeling in the sea, in one of the most attractive points of the east coast of Bahia de Cochinos and a few minutes drive from the trail already visited. At the end of the tour, which should last approximately one hour, we will return to Varadero with a possible optional lunch at the request of the clients.
