“LAS GUANAS TRAIL + LUNCH” Tour
Our Group proposes panoramic tours of the most significant sites in Cuban history, culture and contemporary life. So this is a treat for those seeking some vacation adventures on their Cuba holiday tour.
The LAS GUANAS Eco-Archaeological Trail is a route in the Bahía de Naranjo Natural Park, in Holguín, Cuba, which seeks to conserve the coastal ecosystem of the area. The LAS GUANAS trail is located in a protected natural environment, where you can appreciate a great variety of vegetation and animals, and more than 20 species of migratory birds, with the presence of a variety of mollusks, including the famous polymita. One of the biggest attractions is the presence of populations of endemic regional Guana trees and Aguacate cactus cimarron, some of which are hundreds of years old. In addition, the trail passes through two different types of vegetation with a total of 127 plant species, including 14 endemic species. On the cliffs of the trail you can see a unique phenomenon: up to four sand niches in the rock, corresponding to the different stages of the ocean level. The objective of the LAS GUANAS trail is to conserve the coastal ecosystem and to market tourism in the area in a sustainable way. Along the trail there is a viewpoint where you can see Esmeralda beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Guardalavaca. The LAS GUANAS trail is a good option for nature lovers who want to explore Cuba's natural surroundings and escape from sun and beach tourism.
