A visit to the Museum of Rum will take you deep into the history of the popular Habana Club rum, intertwined with the history and culture of Cuba. The guided tour will take you to see a series of models and reproductions that frame the process of elaboration and origins, among them: the Taller de tonelería, where the craftsmanship required to build the barrels of rum aging is shown, also, the cane mill, powered by mules, was the traditional way of extracting sugar in the first sugar mills. The steam locomotive. The scale model will take you back to the time when the first railroads moved the goods to the port. The distillery model where you will see many tools and utensils used in the fermentation and distillation rooms such as tanks, pipes, copper columns, among others.

The tour of the museum ends in a tasting room set in the thirties where you can taste the end result of the long process of elaboration. In the museum store customers will find for sale the best rums of the HABANA CLUB brand and other traditional items, such as Cuban cigars.
