"HAVANA BIKE SUNSET" Bike Tour

The Sunset Tour lasts approximately 3.30 hrs. It also covers a large part of the city. The most famous places in Havana are visited, but the itinerary changes with respect to the morning tour. And the best part of the tour is that in the afternoon it is less hot, and on the way back you can watch the sunset from the Malecon.

The highlights of Havana can be discovered in the “HAVANA BIKE SUNSET”:

• Visit John Lennon Park, located in the neighborhood of El Vedado, so named because of the placement of a life-size statue of the famous English composer and member of the legendary quartet The Beatles.
• Visit the Casa de la Amistad, a palatial mansion from the early 20th century, with an admirable architecture and a romantic love story between a Spanish landowner named Juan Pedro Baró and a Cuban beauty named Catalina Lasa.
• Visit the Plaza de la Revolución José Martí, one of the largest in the world, with 72 000 m², where we can find the monument to José Martí, the National Hero of Cuba.
• Visit the neighborhood of San Isidro (graffiti), located southwest of Old Havana, with about 12,000 inhabitants in 0.3 km², in its territory sits the oldest church in Havana, the Holy Spirit, and La Merced, which is considered the most beautiful and elegant Catholic temple in the city.
• Visit the handicraft market Almacenes de San José and Muelle Flotante, a large warehouse in front of the port, where you can explore the Cuban culture, where you will find a variety of handicrafts, souvenirs and local products.
• Visit the Plaza de Armas, the oldest square in Old Havana, built in the early 1520s, shortly after the founding of the city at the El Templete Monument.
• Visit the Ambos Mundos Hotel, in the heart of Old Havana on the famous Obispo Street, a five-story eclectic style building from the early 20th century, which gained worldwide relevance when it became the “first home” in Cuba of the famous American writer Ernest Hemingway, who resided in the hotel from 1932 to 1939.
• Visit the Capitol of Havana, a monumental work of Cuban architecture, built between 1926 and 1929, is 207 meters long and 91 meters wide. It houses in its interior the “Statue of the Republic”. At almost 92 meters (302 feet) high, the dome was the highest point in the city of Havana until 1956.
• Visit the Paseo del Prado, built in 1772, is one of the most important promenades in Havana and Latin America.
• Visit the Fort of San Salvador de La Punta, designed to protect the access to Havana Bay from the frequent attacks of corsairs and pirates, it is one of the three main fortifications of Havana.
• The Havana Malecon, one of the most special and picturesque sites in the city.
