Tour´s attractions

• Xcaret is a huge eco-tourism park in Playa del Carmen located where the ancient Mayas once built a city and a commercial port named Pole. In fact, during your tour through Xcaret Park you will see some vestiges of the ancient city. It is thought that Pole was walled for protection, just like Tulum.

• The Xcaret underground river will definitely be one of the highlights of your visit; you can swim, float with your life jacket, or snorkel as you go with the river's peaceful current! At Xcaret Park there's also a small inlet with a beautiful beach where you can relax.

• For travelers interested in nature the park has an aquarium and a butterfly garden. Plus, Xcaret is inhabited by hundreds of exotic birds, such as flamingos and macaws, as well as turtles, iguanas, and many more amazing animals.
