Topes de Collantes Natural Park, it constitutes a unique paradise for lovers of direct contact with nature. It is a place to stop before the existence of a prodigal nature that creates a healthy and purified environment of pollution levels of modern life, stress and anxiety. It is a mountain village located in the natural park of the same name; it is located in the Sierra del Escambray, 800 meters above sea level. You will immediately feel the difference in temperature with an average of 21 degrees Celsius much cooler than in Trinidad. This mountain climate benefits the production of coffee, whose plantations can be known while hiking. The lovers of the same one will delight in the House of the Coffee, where the walk towards the Salto Del Caburní will begin. Passing through the coffee plantations, we observe the reality of rural life in the region, its exuberant fauna and flora. It has caves carved in its almost vertical faults, open valleys with underground drainages, narrow rivers of rapid flow, beautiful waterfalls and waterfalls such as Caburní, National Monument, extolling the attractions of this area worthy of not omitting in its encounter with the nature of the island of hospitality. The spectacle of the waterfall invites you to enter its crystalline spring waters. The waterfall has a height of 62 feet and splashes the natural pools, where walkers can swim and cool off. Undoubtedly, it constitutes a true complement to the offer of the city of Trinidad, in the center of Cuba.
