Enjoy in a natural way the product Finca Turística: a cocoa plantation, an agricultural museum that shows us the crops in all its stages, types and varieties up to the simplest part of its artisan processing, including drying, the cocoa ball and the chorote or creole chocolate in the house of the cocoa or chocolate maker.
The Toa River is the largest river in Cuba, notable for its depth, for its thickly forested contours it has been called the Amazon of Cuba. It rises in the Cuchillas Nipe-Sagua-Baracoa and flows into the north coast of the province of Guantanamo, northwest of the city of Baracoa. It is surrounded by dense jungles, full of coconut trees, coffee, cocoa, royal palm, precious woods and medicinal herbs, and above all, the Butterfly, Cuba's National Flower, abounds.
Maguana Beach is located in the Cuchillas del Toa Biosphere Reserve on the north coast of Baracoa. It is an exotic place of great natural beauty, which you can also enjoy during this adventure.
Itinerary
- Departure by jeep 4x4 from the city of Baracoa with English/French/German speaking guide service.
- Visit to Finca Duaba Visit to the cocoa trail, to learn about the cultivation and processing of cocoa in Baracoa.
- Tasting of a cup of chorote, a traditional drink made from cocoa and coconut milk.
- Visit to Rancho Toa for a cayuca ride on the Toa River, the largest river in Cuba.
- Lunch at Duaba farm or Rancho Toa.
- Transfer to Maguana beach, free time.
- Return to the city.
- Recommended: light clothing, swimwear, sunglasses, hats or caps, tennis, sandals or comfortable shoes and photographic camera.

If the supplier decides to cancel, for not reaching the minimum number of passengers required, due to force majeure or bad weather conditions, Holiplus will offer you an alternative tour or refund, in full, the cost of your tour.
- Clients on excursions are accompanied and assisted throughout the tour by specialized driver-guides, who cover several languages.
- Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The client must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.
- The jeep is shared with other tourists (up to 4 pax/jeep).
- Those who wish to drive must bring their driving license.
- Jeeps have standard transmission.
Cancellation and no show policy:
- Cancellations more than 72 hours before the excursion: No penalty applies.
- Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 50% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Cancellations less than 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- NO-SHOW: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.
- Reservation fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
