SCUBA DIVING IN DAIQUIRÍ BEACH, SANTIAGO DE CUBA: Located on the southeastern coast of Cuba, Daiquirí Beach is not only the birthplace of the world-famous cocktail, but also one of the most fascinating diving destinations in the Caribbean. Just a few kilometers from the city of Santiago de Cuba, this underwater paradise combines crystal-clear waters, vibrant marine life, and centuries of history beneath the sea.
An Underwater World Full of Life: The diving areas along Daiquirí Beach are characterized by the formation of large coral mogotes, impressive coral mounds that rise majestically from the seabed. These natural structures are interconnected by tunnels, channels, and walls, creating an underwater labyrinth teeming with life. Divers can explore spectacular coral walls, narrow passages, and mystical caverns covered with colorful gorgonians and massive sponges. The area is home to an abundance of large fish, including groupers, snappers, parrotfish, and jacks, as well as a fascinating variety of crustaceans and mollusks that thrive in these warm Caribbean waters.

The water temperature remains warm throughout the year, and visibility often exceeds 25 meters, allowing divers to admire the full beauty of the underwater landscapes. With calm currents and moderate depths, Daiquirí is ideal for both beginners and advanced divers. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing dive surrounded by colorful reefs or a more thrilling experience through tunnels and drop-offs, Daiquirí offers something for everyone. The diving area has high mogotes separated by buckets. A narrow platform with a slope and steep walls. There are wrecks in the vicinity of the center. The area has a depth between 5 and 35 meters.
