Just a kilometer is the Bird of Paradise Botanical Garden, where exceptionally cultivated species such as bird of paradise, dahlias, magnolias and other cold climates, building microclimate prevailing in the area.

The Baconao Park, declared World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, will make you to discover the rural traditions of the Eastern zone. Includes the Baconao Aquarium, where the visitors are able to observe the species in their own habitat through a tunnel 30 meters under the sea, and enjoy a beautiful show of dolphins and sea lions. In the park you can stroll in boats by the Baconao lagoon and finally visit the Prehistoric Valley, which has more than 200 large sculptures representing dinosaurs, mammoths and other species that inhabited the earth millions of years ago.
