La Curcuma" farm is located a few kilometers from the town of Viñales. With the promotion of agro-tourism experiences, this type of tourism brings new possibilities to rural areas and encourages the socialization of good environmental management practices. “This is a sustainable way to promote development on a local scale”, and thus be able to invest in increasing agricultural production to supply the nearby tourist pole of Viñales, a national park and cultural heritage of humanity, generating employment solutions for the community, which in turn become a source of resources to protect the biodiversity of the area. Itinerary

• Transfer to the world famous “VALLEY OF VIÑALES”. “CULTURAL LANDSCAPE OF HUMANITY”
• Arrival at the hotel Los Jazmines where you will be welcomed by the specialized local guide. Brief information meeting at the viewpoint of the Valley.
• At the Casa del Veguero “tourist reception center of the travel agency Ecotur” you will enjoy a Cuban cocktail, the farmer will elaborate a tobacco, with leaves of his vega.
• Departure in the 4x4 cars through the area of Laguna de Piedra to the “Finca La Cúrcuma”. All this journey is through the Sierras de Mogotes of the area.
• When we arrive at the guajiro's house, we meet him and his family.
• Tasting of an infusion of this wonderful plant, mixed with honey according to the tourist's request.
• Departure by the path that starts from this place and crosses the farm: during the journey you will observe coffee plants, guavas, vegetation and fauna typical of the mogotes, as well as tobacco plantations, fruit crops, viands and vegetables, until you reach the turmeric area.
• We also visit Los Lavaderos, small waterfalls that form a special place for the enjoyment of this mountain river (rainy season).
• All this is done surrounded by mountain scenery where you can distinguish “EL COLMILLO DE LA VIEJA.”
• Return to the Guajiro's house and picnic lunch in the place.
• Return to the veguero's house in Viñales.
