Jeep Tour "EAST COFFEE ROUTE" (2 Days / 1 Night)
You will get an exclusive about the beginnings of the Coffee in Cuba, the first plantations, the first settlements, as well as the French influence in the culture of the east of the country. You will see the Franco-Haitian influence in the formation of our rich culture, architecture and modern gardening. You can also enjoy a landscape with a peculiar beauty where the existing microclimate, the high degree of endemism, the varieties of ferns, orchids, mosses, the fauna that surrounds it and the visual 360 degrees make it a unique attraction in its type.
Program:
DAY I:
- Departure by Jeep from the hotel accompanied by a specialized guide to the Coffee Heritage Interpretation Center: Casa Dranguet.
- Walk along Corona and Santa Rita streets to the Tivolí neighbourhood. Then General Rabí, San Carlos, Padre Pico, Heredia, Gallo and Enramadas to the Alameda.
- Visit to the viewpoint of the Great Stone with a warm welcome in the courtyard of the Hotel with the offer of fruits and natural juices.
- Return to the Hotel Villa La Gran Piedra.
- Check in and lunch.
- Visit to the ornamental plant garden "Ave del Paraíso" and agrotourism activities.
- Dinner and show that includes the realization of the Coffee Ritual.
DAY II:
- Breakfast at Hotel Villa La Gran Piedra, check out and departure by jeep to the town of Nueva Isabel where the ruins of the Hacienda Fraternidad, Santa Paulina, San Luis de Jaca and San Juan de Escocia are located.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch.
- Swim in the Baconao River.
- Return to the city.
