The city of Sancti Spíritus has one of the most beautiful representative sets of the colonial architecture of the country, as well as 2 national monuments (the Parochial Major Church and the Yayabo Bridge) and several interesting ones museums, among which the Colonial Art Museum, the Provincial History Museum, the Guayabera House, the Serafin Sanchez Home House Museum and the Natural History Museum stand out.Although it’s the provincial capital, it’s a tranquil place that has few activities to lure tourists to spend more than a day or two. Sancti Spíritus was founded in 1516 on the Tuinicú River, but it was moved to the banks of the Yayabo in 1524. It is the oldest city of interior Cuba, and narrow crooked streets, old churches, and plazas preserve its colonial atmosphere. This beautiful and old colonial city has its own merits to shine for its impressive history. Its historic center was declared a National Monument on October 10, 1978. One of its most important sites is the Yayabo Bridge, which crosses the river of the same name, built in 1825, the only one in Cuba dating from the colonial era. . It consists of 5 arches made with bricks and has a marked romantic style, it is still active today and together with the historic center of the city and the Parochial Major Church represent the main tourist attraction of Sancti Spíritus, and for its heritage values and architectural was declared a National Monument and is the pride and main meeting point of the inhabitants of the city.
The city is linked to the cultural and musical traditions of Cuba as a nation, especially the Guayabera, a traditional garment for Cubans. The city also stands out for other cultural traditions such as pottery, plastic arts, weaving by hand and guano, dances, tunes, verses and songs, agricultural and folk art fairs.
Santa Clara is the capital of the province of Villa Clara, in the country’s most central region. It has a total geographical area of 513.7 sq. km. and a population of 239,091 inhabitants, of which 92.3% is urban. It is an important industrial, commercial and communication center located in a vital road and railway junction. It also has an international airport. It was founded on 15 July 1689 and became a city in 1867. It was taken over militarily by Commander Ernesto “Che” Guevara in December 1958 during the final stage of the struggle for the revolution led by Fidel Castro against Fulgencio Batista y Zaldívar. In the Revolution Square rises the sculpture built by artist José Delarra, dedicated to Ernesto Guevara de la Serna (Che). At the foot of the monument, there is a mausoleum that has kept the remains of the renowned hero since 1997.
The town of San Juan de los Remedios is located in the province of Villa Clara, in central Cuba. It is recognized as the eighth oldest city in Cuba, possessing a rich historical and cultural background. On 7 March 1980, the city’s historic center was declared a National Monument. Remedios, as it is popularly called today, has a surface area of 559.6 sq. km and a population of approximately 48,966 inhabitants, with a population density of 83.0 inhabitants per sq. km. In some locations, you can still encounter traces of 17th century Spanish architecture, totally intact. In 1545, the town council already owned Remedios; and it continued to grow over time until 1843, when the sprawling town was conferred the title of city.

• The collected may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels or rental houses and punctuality of customers.
• This tour operates without a minimum of passengers. Holiplus will reconfirm 48 hours before the departure of your tour. If the provider decides to cancel, for not meeting the minimum required amount of passengers, Holiplus will offer an alternative tour or fully refund cost of your trip.

Cancellation Policy
• In case of cancellation up to 72 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 10% of the excursion fare will be charged. • Regarding cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the departure time of the excursion, a penalty of 50% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Cancellations reported within 24 hours before the departure time and No-Show (no presentation at departure time), a penalty of 100% of the excursion fare will be applied. • Booking fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
