Jeep Safari "LOS MONITONGOS"

We invite you to be surprised by natural forms of relief that present unusual configurations recognized for their sculptural beauty and their resemblance to different figures of the animate and inanimate world, inside the Hatibonico Ecological Reserve within the Baconao Biosphere Reserve.

Program:

• 7:00 am. Departure from the city of Santiago de Cuba to the city of Guantanamo, pleasant tour of approximately 1 hour, where you will receive information of interest.
• 9:00 am. Tour to Los Monitongos trail of 1.6 km where, accompanied by a specialized guide, you will enjoy different species of Cuban flora and fauna, exclusive of the site. At the final point of the trail, a natural viewpoint will surprise you with the possibility of enjoying unparalleled views of Guantanamo Bay, the Naval Base and the Caribbean Sea.
• Departure to the fishing village of Caimanera, on the way will not go unnoticed its extensive bay and the largest salt industry in Cuba.
• Lunch at Islazul Hotel in Caimanera.
• Visit to the Hotel's viewpoint, located on the second level of the facility that will allow you to enjoy panoramic views with unique visuals within the Cuban national territory.
• Return to Santiago de Cuba, including a walking tour through the city of Guantanamo.
