LOS ALÁMOS Agrotourism Farm, located in the northern municipality of Yaguajay, better known by many as Chalet Los Alamos, combines, in the midst of such tranquility and in harmony, the chirping of birds, the cadenced step of an elegant peacock, the hens and their chicks, the clash of two roosters and the dog that follows whoever passes its hand... in short, a lively country scene. The farm is surrounded by trees of various species, among them the poplars that give their name to the place, as well as ornamental plants hanging around the portal and of great beauty such as the platycerium, of the genus of ferns, known as deer or elk horns.

RANCHO QUERETE is a pool fed by a small waterfall, where the water is so blue that it seems dyed with indigo, to mimic the color of the sky on a clear summer day. The color is due to the amount of calcium carbonate dissolved naturally in the precious liquid. For years, a reforestation, conservation and monitoring project has been carried out for the reserve's flora and fauna species, following a study of native, endemic and introduced species. The flaps (small caves) named Valdés, Cachinga and Genaro, in dry season can be observed completely drained, they can be walked through and petrified leaves were observed on the ground by calcium carbonate. These flaps are fed by the riverbed of the Jobo Rosado River that crosses the Jobo Rosado Protected Area of Managed Resources where in the season of abundant rainfall it flows forming an impressive waterfall.

Program:

• Pick up by bus from the hotels according to the established schedule and departure to Yaguajay.
• Tour in jeep (4x4 cars). Transfer by road to Jobo Rosado, where you will taste natural juices and seasonal fruits.
• Visit to an agricultural farm, which produces following organic agriculture patterns, you can appreciate the milking of cows and the plowing of the land in a traditional way, in both activities the visitors can participate.
• Transfer to “Los Alamos” farm, bird feeding, guarapo tasting, horseback riding and Creole lunch with pork as the main dish.
• In the afternoon transfer to Rancho Querete, where you will have time to relax and swim in the river.
• Return to Yaguajay rental point.
• Transfer by bus to the hotels.
