This excursion alternates history, culture and nature, visiting first one of the first colonial villages founded on the island and then the Guamuhaya mountain range known as “El Escambray” where the natural park “El Nicho” is located, a paradisiacal place where the green vegetation is combined with rivers, waterfalls and peasant villages.
Itinerary:
- Pick up at the hotel.
- Transit to the city of Trinidad.
- Tour of the historic center of Trinidad that still retains the colonial essence in its streets and buildings, declared a Craft City by UNESCO.
- Visit the museum “Palacio Cantero”, the foundational square of the city and taste the traditional drink of the area “La Canchánchara”.
- Departure to El Nicho passing by Cumanayagua, the locality of “Crucesitas” (maximum altitude of the route) until arriving to the natural park.
- Arrival at the park “El Nicho”, tour through the path “The kingdom of the waters”, bathing time in its natural pools, picnic lunch and free time in the place.
- Return to Varadero.

Clients on excursions are accompanied and assisted throughout the tour by specialized driver-guides, who cover several languages.

Pick-ups may be delayed up to 15 minutes depending on the number of hotels and the punctuality of the clients. The client must inform the sales office to avoid any inconvenience.

Cancellation and no show policy:

Cancellations more than 72 hours before the excursion: No penalty applies.

Cancellations between 72 hours and 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 25% of the total value of the excursion applies.

Cancellations less than 48 hours before the excursion: a penalty of 50% of the total value of the excursion applies.

NO-SHOW: a penalty of 100% of the total value of the excursion applies.

NO-SHOW with change of date: a penalty of 25% of the total value of the excursion applies and a new ticket must be purchased for the new date.

Reservation fees and credit card surcharges cannot be refunded in case of cancellation.
