“SPORT FISHING IN ZAZA RIVER” Tour

Departure from the pier in La Rosita, Tunas de Zaza in speedboats model Cobra with Yamaha outboard motor of 40 HP, belonging to the E.N.P.F.F. Sancti Spíritus, to the Zaza River. Fishing is carried out at the river mouths up to 10 km upstream and in the vicinity of the river mouth at different points along the coast. The most used modality is spinning and trolling. Among the main species to be caught are tarpon, snook, cuberas, jacks, permit and others.

Food is not included in the offer. Optionally you can access these services on site.

What does the tour include?

• Patron of the boat.
• Fishing boat for up to two anglers.
• Fishing license.
• Approximately 6 hours (between 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., according to the client's request). Note: The fishing trip will not exceed 6 hours, nor will it end after 4:30 pm.

The tour does not include:

• Tips for the fishing guide.
• Lunch.
• Other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Fishing equipment and flies.
• Medical insurance.

Assistance, rescue and evacuation:

• First aid provided by: Patron of the boat with instrumentation on the boat itself.
• Medical Assistance Center: Hospital Prov SSptus or International Clinic.

Very important note: In the fishing areas only Fly Fishing (Fly Fishing) with the Catch & Release method is practiced. Other types of fishing are not allowed.

Maximum capacity of fishing boats: The boats have capacity for the guide and up to 2 anglers. They have coolers, seats for both anglers, life jackets, means of communication, as well as the basic safety and comfort to provide the client with a successful fishing trip.

Number of boats available in the area: 3.

Number of anglers in the area on each fishing trip: 3.

• 3 anglers in Single Occupancy (1 angler per boat)
• 6 anglers in Double Occupancy (2 anglers per boat)

It is recommended to bring:

• Enough drinks and food for the whole fishing day.
• Mosquito repellent.
• Gravel guards to avoid sand.
• Copper or bronze Polaroid sunglasses.
• Long-sleeved shirts with UPF rating.
• Quick-drying shorts and fishing pants.
• Lightweight socks to keep the sun off your feet.
• Buff or bandana.
• Sun gloves.
• Sunscreen and hats.
• Raincoat and pants. Just in case.
• Waterproof camera.
• Dry bag / backpack.
