El Paredón is one of the most beautiful beaches to visit in Guatemala, a very quiet environment, ideal for a weekend in the beautiful tropical climate. Many associations of this sport carry out their events here and young people take advantage of it to practice it.
Many people are surprised to learn that in Guatemala it is very common to practice surfing and that there are beaches suitable for this sport. El Paredón, in Sipacate, is one of them. It has the most constant waves and is perfect from November to April for beginners, since from May to October the waves reach gigantic sizes that can be compared to those of Hawaii in the United States.
El Paredon beach in Guatemala is the ideal place to practice surfing, meditate with yoga classes, be among the mangroves and watch beautiful sunsets, discover more about this wonderful tourist destination in the country!
Itinerary:
Day 1:
- We will enjoy a 90 minute kayak tour through one of the many mangrove coves in the area, in search of birds, turtles, fish, crabs and iguanas.
Day 2:
- The next day, professional surfing workshop where you will learn everything you need to know to start riding your first waves.

- We suggest wearing sunglasses and carrying photo and video cameras to keep the beautiful memories of your vacation.
- We recommend always drinking bottled and sealed mineral water during the program visits.
- We recommend you to wear clothes according to the places to visit, as well as comfortable shoes, hats, caps and creams to protect your skin from the sun.
- Beware of the hot sun. We recommend you to bring your own protective lotions.
- We may need a small backpack outside for your personal belongings.
- In most countries we have medical assistance, with clinics in the most remote areas of the countries. However, if you have a chronic illness or allergy, etc., we recommend that you bring your first aid kit or personal medications, especially when you are far from major cities.

- We receive reservations for individuals up to a minimum of 7 days before the tour departure and for groups up to a minimum of 30 days before the tour departure.

This policy does not apply to groups, in which case it will be established from time to time.
