The Humboldt Penguin National Reserve is made up of three islands: Chañaral, Choros and Damas, located on the border between the Atacama and Coquimbo regions. It is located about 100 kilometers north of La Serena in the Coquimbo Region and has a total area of 888.68 hectares

Isla Chorros, located in Punta Jorros, is a fantastic place that can be visited all year round and surrounded by beautiful islands, beaches and coves.

Isla Damas is one of the three islands that are part of the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve, located in Coquimbo, it has white sand beaches and emerald green waters.

Itinerary

• Departure from La Serena, to the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve and we will sail around Isla Choros to identify marine fauna.
• We will disembark at Isla Damas, a beautiful island of white sands and crystal clear waters.
• Returning to the mainland, we will have lunch in a typical restaurant and also learn about the process of making olive oil.
• Later, we will look for land fauna such as foxes and guanacos.
• At the end, return to the hotel.
