The Humboldt Penguin National Reserve is made up of three islands: Chañaral, Choros and Damas, located on the border between the Atacama and Coquimbo regions. It is located about 100 kilometers north of La Serena in the Coquimbo Region and has a total area of 888.68 hectares

Isla Damas is one of the three islands that are part of the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve, located in Coquimbo, it has white sand beaches and emerald green waters.
