Itinerary

  • The journey begins with a scenic 2-hour drive to the Pudeto sector, followed by a 30-minute catamaran ride across the turquoise waters of Lake Pehoé, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.
  • From the landing point, we will start a moderately challenging hike along the shores of Lakes Pehoé and Skottsberg, at the base of the majestic Mount Paine Grande. The trail passes through areas of lenga and ñirre forest, including sections that were naturally reshaped by the 2011 fire, creating a dramatic and unique landscape.
  • As we progress, the path provides exceptional vistas of the iconic Cuernos del Paine, with opportunities to admire the striking contrast between rugged granite peaks and the calm glacial lakes. After crossing the French River, we will stop at Campamento Italiano to rest and refresh before tackling the final ascent.
  • The hike continues with a climb of approximately 230 meters through rocky terrain and forested slopes, leading to a spectacular viewpoint. From this vantage point, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the valley, glaciers, lakes, and the surrounding mountain peaks—a true highlight of Torres del Paine National Park.
  • After spending time soaking in the breathtaking scenery and capturing memorable photographs, we will begin our return journey along the same trail back to Lake Pehoé, where we will board the boat for a peaceful crossing back to Pudeto.
