Once in Trinidad and Topes de Collantes, you will find a destination that has it all and offers endless options for every traveler:

• We start at 9:00 a.m., picking up each of our travelers at their accommodations in Trinidad, as this is a group tour. We then begin our journey in a 4x4 or sedan to our destination: the Topes de Collantes Natural Park.
• We start the tour in the best possible way, making our first stop at El Mirador, a beautiful viewpoint at an altitude of 500 meters, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Valle de los Ingenios, Trinidad, and the Caribbean Sea.
• After hearing several details and interesting facts about the history of this place, we continue our journey another 5 miles through Topes de Collantes, one of the largest protected areas in Cuba.
• Our next stop is in the community of the same name, where we will learn about the main sources of income of its inhabitants and visit a coffee plantation where three varieties are grown: Arabica, Robusta, and Canephora or Liberica.
• We continue our adventure in our vehicle, heading towards Vegas Grande, where we will begin a moderately difficult hiking trail to discover the region's flora and fauna and learn about the incredible world of medicinal plants. At the end of this exciting hike, as a great reward for all our efforts, a beautiful waterfall awaits us, where you can take a refreshing dip.
• We will walk back to the start of the trail, where the vehicle will be waiting to take us to enjoy a delicious traditional lunch at a local restaurant.
• After lunch, we will return to Trinidad and drop you off at your hotel at approximately 3:00 p.m.

Departures for this tour only take place from Trinidad. Pickups for this excursion start at 9:00 a.m.
