"DEEP-IN LA HAVANA"Bike Tour

Our guide will welcome you with the electric bicycles at 10:00 a.m., at Calle 21 #507A, between D and E, Vedado. Upon request, we can arrange an alternate meeting point for private groups. Before we begin, we will give a short introduction on how to use the bikes, adjust them individually for each participant, and explain the condition of Havana’s roads as well as the essential local traffic rules. You will quickly notice that transportation in Cuba works quite differently from what many visitors are used to.

The Tour

Over approximately 7 hours, we will ride through some of Havana’s most authentic districts: Cerro, Diez de Octubre, Marianao, La Lisa, Arroyo Naranjo, and Boyeros, finishing back in Vedado. Along the way, you will experience:

• Please report to the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour starts.
• The program is subject to change. Museum visits are not included in the price and depend on the schedule of opening. Modifications/changes possible, according to the time of opening of the places. Lunch: The place and time can vary according to availability.
• All participants must travel with their own personal insurance.
• The guest must have a good experience in urban cycling. There are no bicycle lanes in Cuba.
• Guests must be able to ride a bicycle comfortably up to 20 kilometers.
• Light clothing is recommended. Sneakers, closed shoes or tennis shoes, comfortable and appropriate for walking in the air free. sunglasses, sun protection. Rain can be expected at any time.
• At the meeting point, we'll give a brief introduction to electric bikes, the settings of customers at each individual height and some general information about the roads and traffic regulations in Cuba.
