VALLE DE CASABLANCA, is a Chilean denomination of origin for wines from the homonymous viticultural subregion that comply with the requirements established by the Decree of Agriculture No. 464 of December 14, 1994, which establishes the country's viticultural zoning and sets the standards for use as appellations of origin. Casablanca is often mentioned and recognized as a valley, but in fact it is not, since it does not present a wandering alluvial course. The figure and recognition of a "Casablanca Valley" responds only to a commercial and associative figure, and also as a geographical reference.
Itinerary
Departure from our hotel in Santiago and we head west to the Casablanca Valley, the second closest wine valley to the capital.
During our trip we will visit two vineyards, which can be Matetic, Viña Mar, Viña Emiliana or Viña Indomita, depending on their respective availability.
Then we will enjoy a delicious lunch between the two visits that take place during the day.
All visits to the winery have the presence of a specialist who will guide our tour, explaining in detail the operation of the processing plants, wineries and the qualities of the different varieties of fine wines that we can taste.
At the end of this trip, we return to our hotel in Santiago.
